AFL isn't all that gay, considering the average attendances to an AFL match are considerably higher than RL, membership is healthy as hell and TV rights are also worth more.

All those millions of people...gee, we must all be so wrong!

Rugby is a game that I am not a great fan of, but I watch it here and there because it is different.

And for Storm going to Sydney for the Prelim, that's different to the AFL. The AFL cut that after 2004, so now the only time that a "home" final for an interstate team will be played in Melbourne is the Grand Final.

No other AFL stadium in Australia can seat as many people as the MCG can.

Although I live in Melbourne, I think the Broncos are in better form at the moment, plus they've been more consistent over the past few years.
Melbourne, being minor premiers have the pressure of the tag.

I wish Melbourne best of luck, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see Brisbane win.

Yes...but the wings were shortened and the capacity has been reduced to 80-85 thousand.

The Olympics was 6 years ago. Things have changed.

These changes reduced the capacity to 83,500 for a rectangular field and 81,500 for an oval field. Roofs were also added over the North and South stands, which means that now 90% of all seating is under cover.
This is the source of my information.
