Hello,
I post this question on this forum because i would think you people would know alot about trainees. So the question is: I want to do a tafe course but i need to have a "contract of training" and be registered under the "new apprenticeship system" to do it. My dad owns a business in the same field and i would like to use him as my contractee? Would i be able to do this since his me father and also to have him not pay me? (or does he HAVE to?)

You most certainly can use your fathers business, i use my parents business as my trainers. The reason you you can do this is because you will also have a qualified trainer, your boss doesn't really train you.
As for not payin you i do believe that they have to, however i'm sure you could just put it back into his account after pay day... Hope this helps, Mk II |
