Default New comer intro - DarkJedi

hello peoples.

just signed up so i thought i would introduce myself.

i live just outside bendigo, victoria.
i currently own a 1986 honda prelude.
i am an active member and moderator on the preludeaustralia.com forums.
heres my curent car...not that it matters on a ford forum. *braces for wing comments*

i have registered on here because i have decided that i am going to buy a newer car later in the year...probably around december.
i am looking at getting an EL XR8. just a slight upgrade. :P

i come from a ford family and for quite a while i have been the outcast with my little japer.
for instance...my grandparents used to have (just sold it) a ford econoline van that they imported from the us and had converted to RHD just so they had a nice van to take to dog shows and to use to tow (expletive deleted - ED) easily. 351 winsor helped with that. lol. :

so...anyway...hello.

Welcome mate

I'm sure everyone will be helpful in giving you info on the EL, the E-Series guys and their forum in particular

While your Honda isnt regularly discussed on a Ford forum, all members are welcomed and I'm sure most people here realise that different people have different tastes (so no flaming!)

Welcome. Don't be surprised if you get stirred a bit about your car. That's a classic example of what a lot of members here would dislike! (I'm trying to be courteous here!)

it wont get a wing...it will be getting neons though.

it aint going to be majorly riced.

oh...and nugget...it did have a badge on the back that said honda...but i took that off cause i too the badges off the back that said "2.0Si" and "4wALB" and they were on the 1 side so it looked unbalanced with the badge on the other side.
make sense?
the only badges it has are the "H"s.
i hate badges that say what model it is...i have no prob with make badges. im just wierd.

Hi there champ!
Big welcome to the forums. Don't worry too much about what's said about the "H". That said, I think you'll take some great ideas away from this site. I'm hoping we can convince you to spend the dosh on things other than neons, but each to their own.

As for Herrods, they will soon become your friend. If you've never heard of them, that's ok. Consider the name to be as important to Ford Fans as VTEC is to the Honda crowd. It's a special special place, where we all dream of going (and some actually get to go!).

Seriously, welcome to the forums, try not to become addicted as the rest of us have become! :P

i havent bothered to get it registered cause i cant figure out what the freaky problem i am having is.

actually...i might start up a thread in the tech section to try to find the problem.
