I for one am a fan of the blown 3.8, despite it still being a mild unit, it's nothing like the ****ty atmo 3.8

I am dead against having badges on a car that it is not.

There was never a Holden Commodore Acclaim SS.
Holden Commodore SS S/C V6 was available from Sep 97 to Jun 99
Holden Commodore S S/C V6 was availale from Sep 97 to Jul 04 (VT to VYII)
Holden Commodore Acclaim S/C V6 was availacle from Oct 00 to Aug 01

How often do you see stuff like this?

Like years ago when every VL executive had the red turbo badge on the boot.

Bodykits always make me laugh. Here in Hobart, there is a grey/green VK (yes, VK Commodore) with VS Clubsport front & rear skirts. I'd love to take a photo and post it on here.

is that the one from the newtown area it does look like crap good for a laugh though theres also a red vk with similar front bar as that one aswell

its purely for the increase in rwkw.

the ones that have multiple badges are the ones to watch out for!

Like a plumber who did work on my mum's house extension who has a VS SS with both SS and Clubsport badging. Was an absolute shocker!

With what some "desperates" seem to spend on junk HSV spoilers, skirts, etc for their V6 Execs, I'm sure they could have bought something better without all the fluff .. eg. VS Berlina V8?

i didnt think there was such thing as an SS in a v6 version. 'S' pacs are all sixes i believe.
And yes you see this sort of thing everywhere - Fords alike.
And for the fella who has put an SS badge on his pulser, tell him to put another 'S' on it - the pulsar made an SSS not an SS.

I saw a Magna the other day with Ford Badgs on it.

Kept looking at the driver and giving him indications of disapproval.

Yea I told him to get another 'S' so it looked like a triple S pulsar but he liked the commodore SS badge as it was. He said he has another Commodore SS badge too and he was thinking about putting that on to make is a quadropple (sp) S pulsar. That would be just silly though.

i dont see the point in badging something that it isnt....though why put a t series kit on a forte?... why put xr clusters in your forte?...why because it looks nicer the fact that some people dont like it well dont look id put tickford wings on my car...because it looks better than the SR stickers!...id put ts50 kit on my car cause it looks better than the forte!

theres no complaints about replica GT's...the elenor shelby GT500..which was once a mustang fastback (not talking about original)
sorry but some arguments have no ground..and to the if u want an SS, or a tickford then just buy one...well i think they would have if they could afford it
the commodore with the GT stripes thats wrong.
1 because holden dont have the right to call any model a GT hence GTO, GTS check the le mans or gt something site

but there seems to be arguments fueled on the fact that its a holden...
though there may be more fortes out there that are badged as something else

before you hate me...justify your argument against mine and if your right i will take it all back.

Light blue BF GT stripes on a white Fiesta that had a full body kit, just wrong.
Or when my step-brother bought a VS V8 exec, that had 8 SS stickers from a VN/VP on it, they were everywhere.

I got 2 new model badges but i wouldn't go for something to out there it's funny looking and your a real DH if you got SS in a V6 and it's not the VT1 SS with option V6/SC.

Who cares, it happens on both sides of the fence. No different to sticking GT stripes on an xt or xr6/8 series BA/F complete with the GT cutout in the stripes.

****erism knows no brand.
