Default Slotted Rotors

I saw that a company is having a sale on DBA slotted rotors until Easter at $99 bucks each. What's the usual price, anyone know?

I might get a set for each of my cars. Just the fronts, or rears also? What are your thoughts on this guys?

I was thinking of just the fronts.

What pads, I was thinking Bendix Advance. Any ideas on the cost of these?

Cheers,

GK

I was quoted this last May from the same place, I believe.

Front DBA slotted $105.00each
Rear DBA slotted $105.00each

Front DBA X-drilled & slotted $126.50each
Rear DBA X-drilled & slotted $126.50each

Front DBA 4000 series slotted $146.50each
Rear DBA 4000 series slotted $146.50each

Front DBA 4000 sreies x-drilled & slotted $180.00each
Rear DBA 4000 series X-drilled & slotted $180.00each

I have Bendix Performax pads which are quite good and give you a good pedal feel and braking without being to hard on the rotors

Front $77.00set
Rear $77.00set

A set is four pads or two?

In other words, $80 x 2 or $80 for the front?

$80 for both fronts. Rears would be a different set and a lot cheaper.

Rotors $200 and Pads $80.

Self install, $280 all up. Sounds like good value to me!

Actually, rears are more expensive from Repco - at least for the wagon, not sure about sedans. Around $90 for rears, IIRC.

$99 for slotted DBAs is a bargain. Which company is offering this price?

Rears for a sedan are about $55 - no point doing slots on the rear though, just good quality pads.

$99 for DBA are awsome, I paid $164ea just over a year ago now.
Do it!

Thanks for the link. I don't need any right now, but that's a pretty good deal.

they make a great difference, i put F & R DBA 4000's slotted, and some Bendix Ultimate pads, the braking is over twice as good as before, its like the car has lost 200kgs when under heavy braking, compared to factory setup.
