Last one I saw was a water-cooled, 4-cylinder, 2-stroke H1 Kawasaki 500 (for those who don't know, the H1 was built as an air-cooled, 3-cylinder)

.. or if you like them big, 2.3L V12 Kawasaki, derived from Z1300 Kawasaki 6-cylinder bike ..

On a much smaller scale but still on topic ie what a bloke can do in his shed,this guy made me some parts for a front end swap on my TL1000 and sent them over from England,looking for more power he simply went out to his shed fabbed up the necessary parts and fitted a Supercharger to his TL,started out with around 125hp and made it to 200 reliably.
