Post 1972 film by Chevrolet about the invasion of foreign cars

For those interested in history. If the BIG 3 thought they were under the pump in 1972, little did they know what was waiting for them

That link is blank on my feed, so I can't look at the movie.

From what I have observed, the once-great American car industry had grown fat and lethargic by the late 1960's , and never progressed since then - just look at the terrible cars produced in the 1970's and beyond.

The poor design and poor quality of US cars just left the gate wide open for "foreign" cars.

The US carmakers simply did not lift their game and were pretty much bankrupt of ideas, product and dollars by the 2000's.

They should have seen it coming, but were to fat and lazy to respond.

I agree. And it shows that Chevrolet management blamed the people assembling the cars when the problem clearly was management's poor product decisions.
