Default Good honest workshop sought - Newcastle

Guys,

A friend of mine who moved to Newcastle last year has been saving her pennies and has just purchased a little Suzuki Swift to get herself to and from work.

She's looking to do the right thing by her little car and is looking for a small workshop that can look after general servicing and sort out any repairs as required. Nothing fancy - just honest and reasonable is all she needs.

She lives in the Mayfield area so anywhere within cooee of that would be good.

Any suggestions from the Novacastrians on the forum?

Russ.

Dasha's Auto Care, 50 Broadmeadow Rd, Broadmeadow, ph 49 408849. Russ, tell your friend to say "Fotho" recommended him. I've known Dasha for over 30 years, does good quality work and is a nice guy. Located 5 minutes from Mayfield. Good luck with it all!

Dave Brown Automotive. They are in Bennetts Green which is a bit of drive.

My Dad has been going to Dasha's for years and swears by him.

Thanks PG2. She's going to give Dasha's a call.

This is a great forum isn't it!

Cardiff Car Clinic - ask for Ian.
Ian and his son run this small workshop and they have a great reputation for doing the right thing by their customers.

Adamstown Car Doctors. Cheapest for a timing belt change. They are not the cheapest regular servicing but I know their work is good.
