its pre recorded and all he does is hit the keys in any order if you watch close you can tell by where they are hitting

listen to the tone of the song, particularly at the end, he would have to transeverse up and down the keyboard alot more then just simply leaning from one end to teh other.... its pre recorded, but he does a great job of selling it to first time watchers.
