Still doesn't excuse the fact that the original mat is close to useless

No I haven't, I will bring it up at the first service. Do you really think that they will redesign the shape of the mat because I tell them that it is no good

don't stress over crappy little things like that in a Falcon
it only disillusions you. My Falcon is 18 months old and the "quality" of the glovebox looks like it came off a Russian car from the 80's
they are full of cheap plastics ect
but still great cars in other respects, especially that 5.0

Probably not. However if it was me I'd be making my first complaint to the dealer not a forum.

Perhaps then posting the dealers actions or comments.

I agree its a bloody ripper of a car, love it in every way. Except the mat its *** ***

The mats have been garbage since FG.....the carpet in the car has been complete garbage since FGII.

My solution was just go fitted aftermarket mats. Found a pair that fits well, holding up well and makes the car easier to vacuum.
