Default If anyone has a lazy $125000

Thomson Ford will help you with that.

Their last two.

A relative bargain compared to the 4 on Carsales at the moment!

Are they new unregistered or used registered?

From all the hype, I thought that everyone of the 500 had been pre-sold.

Forgive my ignorance, I haven't followed the GT sales story. Not even sure if that's the RRP or a dirty dealer. I'd be guessing that if it is over the RRP, there are some moral questions to be answered.

Shouldn't they be 351 not 335 to be part of the 500?

They are saying Drive away.

I can't figure out a way to post the email I got from them today, but the text says:

"A rare opportunity has arisen for your opportunity to own one of the last FPV's every produced.

The iconic 351 badging, a unique 'Stealth" stripe package evocative of the muscle cars of the 70's, and the roar from a bi-modal quad exhaust system signal the arrival of this ultimate expression of the legendary GT. Under the bonnet of the new Limited Edition GT F lies FPV's best engine ever - a supercharged 5.0 litre V8 capable of delivering an awesome 351kW of power (measured at 348.6kW at the rear wheels with a dynamometer) and 570Nm of torque (measured at 721Nm at the rear wheels with a dynamometer)
Thomson Ford has their last 2 vehicles available, price is available upon application.

FPV GT F Sedan presented in Silhouette with Matte Black stripe and manual transmission

Contact the FPV Sales specialist (I have the name and number but I'm not sure I'm allow to post that). Thomson Ford Parramatta

Falcon Coupe,

Looks to me like they are really lazy with the pictures and generic description, because it you go down to the comments, they are definitely GT-F's.

Canceled orders maybe?

It’s possible someone couldn’t raise the finance otherwise why cancel the order when you could always on sell and possibly make a profit.

Rude, something like dealer principle or friend places order closer to the time cancels and then the dealer walks away with an extra 50k . Strange that a single dealership had two cancellations, they must just be lucky.

If I did I wouldn't buy either of those just on principal. Same colour same spec one auto the other manual blatent price gouging. Black F6 has it sorted.
These are the types of cars that show up on FMC and carsales and are advertised for months until someone stupid enough walks in or the dealer has a dose of reality and keeps reducing the price.
Has BF Cobra syndrome all over it and we know how well that went for the scalpers.

Supply and demand.
If they can get 125k for them , good luck to them.
Last of the Aussie made falcon GT. I'm surprised they're not demanding more.

Fair enough. Same should go for other items sold across the country - Petrol, Lubricants, Beer, Food.

Hell, why even have a RRP. The seller should be able to get whatever they want.

Seriously, if FoMoCo has a RRP then the price should be about that with a possible increase of 10%, if required. Any prospecting on the demand should be up to the registered owner.

RRP is just a guide by the manufacturer. Its not a law. Its there for the consumer to baseline a cost. There is no Price fixing or predatory pricing in play here. Its the exact opposite. Comparing a limited model performance car price to high volume consumer goods with a high reliance is not really a fair comparison.
In this case, they bear the risk of carrying dead stock and the provision for the product because they have overpriced it. There is no impact to anyone but themselves.
I,m sure if they're still on the lot in 3 months time, the price will be "adjusted".
I don't see the issue in this particular case.?

Same thing in NZ . For that price I'd take a 2nd hand 2011 GTR and Mod it.

To be fair though is this the first case and is it allowed? I know Ford did it for charity. I'd also rather buy the new XR8 and add a new master bedroom and ensuite to our house with the difference, but I'm in a different stage of family life, lol.

I see nothing wrong with the dealer selling it for whatever they choose, we live in a free society.
Whether you believe there is a moral issue at play or not, I still wouldn’t want someone telling me what I can sell my possessions for.
It’s the person that pays that much over the RRP that intrigues me.
They either really love the car so much they’ve willing and can afford to pay whatever or they’re prepared to have a long wait to chance a return on an the investment.
It takes two to tango and a seller is hoping to hook up with the right buyer which may or may not happen.

For everyone who is saying that they can sell for whatever the dealers want. Yeas but the thing that ****s me off is that FPV/Ford put all their development money into this car. And yet they don't milk the price like these dealers are.

Its a shame and allot of these sorts of things is why FPV and Ford have been having issues for the last few years. Their public front (the dealers) are usually useless and lately have no motivation on making a sale. Man I remember almost 10 years ago how good the before sale and after sale service was like.

In saying that there are a few decent dealers around but they are few and far between. Dad had to go to North Island for his last FPV as the one in Chch after quoting him RRP never got back to him, and hes been buying cars of the same dealer for 10+ years. However the guys up North didnt hesitate to knock a couple of K off the RRP. Consistency would have been nice from the dealers instead of them trying to make an easy dollar.

You mean this is the first advertised case, plenty of dealers were gouging. Took me 6 goes to find a good dealer who wasn't trying to get 10k or more extra.

Graziano can say whatever he likes. The MLP Manufacturers List price is a recommended price set by the manufacturer. There is no legal requirement for a dealer to comply with that. PERIOD.

Funny how people will go at breakneck speed to a multinational shop to save $10 on oil sold below RRP, and then hammer the small business trying to make a fair living selling at RRP. Then they back a large business charging 60% more than RRP.
