Interesting read, make's one a bit envious Holden updating their Vehicles with all this tech when our trusty Falcons on it's last legs, Still I have owned HSV and Holden's before and the VF range doesn't beg me to jump out of my SC GT!!

notice holden says they are spending FAR more on advertising using methods like facebook....utube and other internet options. Something ford has been doing along time and many have said was ussless. Well the dark side doesn't agree It is a great idea in this age

They're even using Ford Forums to advertise.

Holden saw value and potential in Flappist's recent argument...Fast Fact 28:

rural customers can still opt for a Country Pack set-up that increases ride height by 35mm and has softer springs to cope with rough outback conditions.

I hope your just kidding with that statement. Ford has been running clever advertising on just about every platform (bar tv) to the extreme for awhile now. And as it seems...holden agrees and is tagging along. Its a very good form of advertising.....so don't bag ford for being different...taking the initiative and trying something new...which turns out is very popular and effective.

FPV were also using the HSV Forum to advertise last year and early this year.

VF actually gets a decent premium sound system. Doesn't get much more premium than Bose!

The last Falcon ad I can remember seeing would be the walking fingers ad, and what a dog's breakfast that was.

The most recent I can think of is the 335GT ad that featured Moffat.

Compared to stuff you see from HSV it just seemed half baked.

Country pack is a great option even for some of our cities , unfortunately manual Sportwagon got dumped in VF series.

Probably more to do with the fact of locating a subwoofer / rear fill I would say.

Bose premium? Please, the only thing premium about Bose is the price.
