I just seen what looks to be a Ford Territory - Ranger Frankenstien but was left hand drive.
It had a Ranger front end, bonnet, front window (not sure about the dash as I've never sat in a Ranger) and front drivers door etc and from behind the drivers seat, Rear door backwards it was a Territory but the rear bumper wasn't fitting properly and the fuel filler had been moved. To me it was riding a bit high to be running on Territory running gear so I would have to say that in general terms it was a Ranger with a Territory rear end (that's a guess though). And yes, in between fumbling with a coffee we managed to get three pictures. Not sure if anyone else has taken any photos of it so I'm unsure if they should have a FordForums watermark on them before I put them up?? Now, Back to my coffee!! Very surprising to see so much of the Ranger end uncovered. They could've done it with a full Territory body I suppose but perhaps the Ranger bits are there to test the cooling systems etc. Begs the question why not go with a full T6 body then? Is there something special with the wagon body they want to hide, even on the mules?

Kinda wierd they'd do it this way though...I mean, why use the back half of a Territory?? One is a unibody car, the other is body on frame..? I'm lost on this one...

While we're waiting for the watermarking, there is much to discuss. So excitement! I've been waiting for this vehicle to surface for ages.
I noticed the mule had some long brushes attached under the car, at the sides under the back doors and under the back of the car where the spare tyre usually lives. They looked like car wash bushes but in a strip rather than on a roller. I wonder what those were for. A bit odd they shoved a Territory back end on the car though. Perhaps they are still sorting out the design aspects of it and needed to get the mules out and about.

It would be - until someone else puts it on their website as an 'exclusive'.

Hand made factory test mules are cool !! There's always something in/on them that gives away a decent clue as to what's coming !
The "Left Hand Drive" bit is very interesting.... D
