Default 2012 LW MKII Focus titanium - interior leather

Hi, I am awaiting the arrival of a new 2012 LW MKII Titanium Focus. I'm pretty excited as its my first brand new car. We were under the impression the interior leather will be black as it appears that way on Ford website, but I'm now a bit worried as I have seen some photos on different dealer websites and the leather looks like a blue/grey colour. Does anyone have the latest model that can share some insight? We have ordered the Frozen White exterior colour. Many thanks

I have a Frozen White LW2 titanium. The leather is dark grey. Definately not black.

Is it a dark, dark grey? I know sounds silly but interior is pretty important to me. Would you say it's as attractive as black leather?

Or do you have any photos that give a good indication?
Thanks for your reply by the way!

I can take some for you. What could we use as a comparison point though?

Lol, that stumped me... My husband suggested a black leather shoe or handbag, or something like that?...

Here are some HDR snaps using an iPhone 4

Black and white.jpg
This is a white sheet of A4 paper, a black jacket, and the seat

Dirty interior - doesn't really look this quite this light in real life to me

Comparison with the exterior colour

I was expecting black, as that's what the brochures had (or close to it), but it does look good (your taste may be different though)

Thanks so much for the pics. It does look darker when compared to the jacket and paper, rather than on its own. Disappointing that the website doesn't give a proper indication, but as long as its nice I'm sure Ill be happy. Not sure when it will arrive now, as it was travelling south from Brisbane to get here, and the highways blocked due to flooding. Hopefully I won't be in suspense for too long! Do you absolutely love it?? I'm selling my much loved Audi for this car (it's getting on in age but still a wonderful car), and I hope to love the Titanium just as much.

I came from a Peugeot 308, and some parts of the interior definitely feel cheaper, but they aren't really parts I touch much anyway (mostly in the back - door trims etc). The Peugeot had a different set of features to the Focus (eg, heated seats, Tyre pressure monitoring etc) but then the Focus has others (I have the sports executive pack as well, so even more goodies). Changing to the focus I didn't really have to go through the adjustment process you normally have to with a new car - it's really easy and lots of fun to drive.

The sound system is very good, SYNC works well, Auto park works. It really is a very good overall package. White looks really great on the car too

Insurance is about $400-500 less than the Peugeot, and servicing is cheaper

It's more fuel efficient than the Pug was.

My clutches/gearbox does make a rattling sound occasionally (which I can hear when the radio is off), but so far it hasn't affected the performance of the car. Occasionally when I start the answer/FFWD and Hang up/RWD buttons don't work - but turning the radio off then back on fixes that. It hasn't been in for its first 300km "service" yet.

I do really like it. I thought I would miss the Pug terribly, but I haven't looked back yet.

Oh incidentally, the interior shot looks lighter than the jacket/paper shot at least partially because of the way the camera works. There are no major bright points of reference in the frame, so the camera overexposes a little.

This is another example of charcoal black:
