Default AU2 failed start help.

Hey can anybody help figure out my issue...

I went to start my car (AU2 auto forte) this afternoon and it didn't start... Kind of like the battery was dead but it wasn't and made a strange noise which I can't describe. I think proceeded to pop the bonnet and see if there was anything I could notice.. I found nothing and jumped back in and tried to start it again... This time I revved bait as I turned the key and it struggled its way to a start then the engine was kind of hissing for abit then it stopped. It's started fine for me the next 3 times Ive gone to jump in it but I'm just wondering what would cause it to do that in the first place...

Thanks, Jay.

My old starter motor used to make some funny sounds one time in 20. I had it replaced, flawless since then.
