My WQ Zetec is up for new tyres..195/45/16 are odd size tyres. Tyres have done 48,500kms . Dunlop/Continental/Goodyear are around $230>$250ea.
Kumho's are $179 and Falkens are $189. Bob Janes recommend the Flakens over Kumho's.What have others used ?? Opinions ?? Thanx

All the tyre shops around here tell me Toyo's are the best tyre for the money, all the guys in the shops run Toyo's on their own cars so that's a pretty good advertisement. The next set I try will be them

The Falkens are the way to go. Good Japanese manufactured tyre with great allround dry and wet weather grip and good mileage. I have used Falkens for the last 19 years on different company vehicles and have found them to be one of the best tyres around.

I agree with Photn. Get the Kumhos! I've had both and can honestly say the Kumho KU31's are great. I've also had Continentals, and the Toyo Proxes 4's. Kumhos so far have performed as good as the Toyo's.

Falken RT-615 are pretty good, cheap to at Tempe tyres.
KU31 however are an excellent all rounder.

RT-615 Are a circuit sprint and tarmac rally tyre. You wont get the mileage. Have a look at the F K 452 Falkens.
