Who strips a car to bare metal and paints it in one week?

Like to see what these cars look like after a year!

Yeah, they'd to an Australian Overhaulin', then when you see the owner come pick up the car, drive out the driveway, the red and blues go on and the car gets a major defect for being too low and goes home on a tow truck every episode.

Don't forget the Engineers Cert......... for that 427, they'd inevitably shoehorn into an XF Falcon.

And the 18x9's, 22x10's combo.

Such a show might work in WA - no RWC's.

In the eastern states.......... forget it........

I'd much rather a show themed on the British 'A car is Born' series.
No product placement, no informercial rubbish.

Just an ordinary bloke like you or I, building up cars, learning along the way, having a blast, and filming every moment of it.

As much as it would be nice to have a show like overhaulin, I don't think it is feasible for Australian Television.

Maybe we need a show like Wheeler Dealers
