I like the idea, but would be more worried about the brake dust build up. You'll need to clean the wheels more often.

I wouldn't paint, i would powder coat.

Would look pretty sweet with the white stripes.

Cheers guys,

mmmm the metallic silver already attracts a fair bit of dust, but yeah white will show more. Worth it I think though.

Never really thought about powercoating to be honest, I was planning on sand blasting and 2Pack.
What prepwork do you need for power coating?

Riksta,
LOL, thanks dude, probably not the best example.....

You're welcome, sorry its not the best example but I've always had a thing for red cars with white wheels, I loved my Colt!

Here's another example. See, horn!

powdercoating is also usually not as glossy as a 2pac so should be better with brake dust. would look fab I reckon!

Shame to do that to near new wheels.

You could always sell them to me and look for something different to stand out from the crowd.

My zetech would love your wheels as is.

Just another view.....,
Go black with the wheels and then do a black pinstripe along the edge of your white like this....
http://www.zercustoms.com/photos/For...ans-1.jpg.html
Personally I think that looks wild.

I'd powdercoat them over painting that. Usually is a stronger coating on them.
When i had wheel powdercoated I had them sandblasted prior that was all (just to get the previous chipped factory paint off them).

Black strips on the stripe will make a lot of difference.

I like both the white and the black, but lean a little more towards the white.

Either way though, I think a nice thin redwall on the tyre would set them off nicely as well.
