Exclamation 2006 focus radio code

Hey guys, mates got radio issues just wondering if the 4 digit radio code is located on the unit itself, as it has been in all fords I've played with.

Car: ford focus 2006 lt zetek hatch.

I don't want to goto ford because they will charge me for a two min job.

Thanks in advance.

usually in the owners manual or on a sticker in the glove box.
also when i take my car in for a service at my nearest bayford they write the radio code on the sheet they give you which outlines what they serviced..

Dosn't that aleviate the need for a code??
The idea is that if its stolen, then its no use to anyone else, bcause they dont have the code
However if its on the bottom of the CD player, why have a code?

Agree 100%, at least I didn't have to pay a dealer for something so simple. Noone wants to steal a Focus CD player anyway, its not that good and is a specific Focus fit.

If you want the code from the dealer you need the VIN number for the car and proof of ownership.

All I had to do was take my rego papers to my local Ford dealer.

Code wasn't on their "universal" system, they called the dealer I got it from and all was sorted right there and then.

Didn't cost.

But glad you sorted yours!
