Default Wanted: '94 Festiva 5 speed gearbox

Hi,

Any ideas, please, on where I may purchase a gearbox for a:

1994 FORD FESTIVA GLI WB F/INJ 5D HATCHBACK 1.3L 4 CYL 5S MANUAL

I had reported elsewhere in this forum of a noise in my car, and raising the possibility of it being a cv joint. Well, not so, with the gearbox having gone to wherever gearboxes go.

I live in Canberra.

Thanks in advance for assistance.

You may be limited in your options in Canberra.

Having said that, I think there is a Mazda box that is the same (The Mazda 121 1.3 bubble model) which the Festiva was loosely based on I think.
