They are predicted the TDV6 will make up 50% of sales. I6 production will drop by 25%, putting another nail in its coffin. LPi would have covered the loss if it was available.

Even though we're on the eve of a new Territory, I can't help thinking
the future lies with the new Explorer with the FWD/AWD V6 diesel in it.

Such a vehicle would enable Australia to plug into a really great design
and add our uniqueness for RHD markets throughout the region without
development costs constantly crippling a regional program like Territory.

Then again Lincoln may want an SUV platform that can go toe to toe with the BMW X5 and that SUV Merc.
