Default Production Numbers

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any production numbers for the AU XR series 1-3? I am interested to know how many of the 220kw hand built tickford V8's were produced over the car's life cycle.

I am especially interested in the series 2 as it is the one i own hehe

Cheers

The 200kw motors were also hand built. Got the builders names on the the rocker covers also. As for numbers sorry can't help. Sure someone on this site will know.

Default producion numbers...WOW!

Hi Guys,

Hey Stampy that's awesome!!! Great work!! Where did you get this great information?? Are there any other model production numbers available? I also own a 1987 4WD Ford Laser and I would love to know how many of them were built and sold.

If you could give us more words of production number wisdom we would be most grateful!!

Cheers

sorry to drag up a very old thread guys, but i'm very curious about the SII's with the 220kw engine.
there's one of these in my family, built in the last month of SII production, and it definitely has the 220kw engine.
as they were built for only a very short time, would they be the rarest AU XR8 of all?
i'd really like to know if anyone can tell me how many SII's were built with the 220, as opposed to the earlier 200kw unit.
cheers!
