Most of the idle stuff is there, as are the spark and fuel tables, MAF transfer, and WOT Spark vs RPM function. The injector slopes are wrong, and there is not alot there to manage the adaptive stuff (id love to turn off adaptive at idle) but there is more than enouguh for me to tune at the moment. I'll need to get at least injector slopes sorted before I can tune for the blower (s-trim). There is no datalogging either which would be nice.

I was using a twEECer RT before, but the Quarterhorse is much nicer
yeh that sux not having injector slope scalers that would be no good for me. I have 80lb inj in mine and just changing the slopes was not enough you also have to change the fuel_crank_PW_vs_ECT function and the fuel_table_startup table (this is the post start enrichment) to so make sure he finds these. I didn't have time to work out how to crack my std bin so it was easier to just go for a yanky ECU and the data logging function is awesome and was very helpfull tuning wise. Credit to Matt for what he has done so far.

cheers thanks for all the kind words every one, it has been a hard slog to get it this far and alot of very late nights away from the wife and kids, the last time I raced it with the NOS was the winternationals then I stripped the car did the install/tune/rollcage etc all in 8 weeks some times working to 2.00 or 3.00 in the morrning.

And to top it all off I only put a half cage in it not thinking it would be this quick ,now I have to do a 6 point and also a parachute as my best MPH on the weekend was a 139.759, what a to pull up at those speeds at Benaraby LOL

simply awesome. Good to see the old windsor showing us how it's done. I'd love to see a vid or pictures. Love fast cars, particularly fast fords.

what did your build cost if you don't mind me asking, and what did it entail?

this was a budget deal and most parts are Evil-bay stuff, all the labour and fabrication/welding/tuning work was done here at Gladstone dyno tune so that all cost me nothing but here a parts run down.

2 E-bay T70 turbo's $399 each
2 E-bay 50mm wastegates $189 each
E-bay intercooler $320
2nd hand injectors $400
mandrel bends for cold side and hot side and exhaust app $800
Moats Quarterhorse $250 US
Binary editor and analyzer $130 US
rollcage kit with clevice pins $900

alot of stuff I already had like bosch 044 pump, swirl pot, msd 6al, and not including alot of small stuff like air filters , silicon hoses , hose clamps but you get the picture.

you all so have to realise that you can just put some of these turbo's on any 5.0l and make this much power my combo was stout to beging with, making 370rwhp and running high 11's N/A and a good torque convertor that seems to be working better now. The higher the base engine HP the less boost required to make X amount of HP.

also there was the AIS meth injection kit $300 US

I just reread this and realised i made a typing error it should have said you can't just put these turbo's on to any old 5.0l and expect to make this much power on the same boost.

But if you had a better engine then mine and more cubes you could make way more power then this.

hey thanks

yes it took me a few years to get it were it was N/A, when I first bought this car 8 years ago with 82,000klm it was used as my tow car for my XD with a stout 2v that went 11.2 N/A and 10.2 with some gas, I raced the xr8 once and got a very shamfull 16.2 and a 16.1 LOL, its not embarrasing now.

I just finished porting some CHI heads for a mate I'm off to bed it's late :

Wow,you obviouslly have a very well front to rear package their. Is it transbraked?

Lastly, did you have to do much to the ebay turbos for peace of mind or were they respectable out the box?

well done and will be watching for progress on this one

Man u made heaps of power with NA 302 and now with twin turbo buckets loads more and i still dont get how u made 370rwhp out of ur 302 with alloy heads.

My old AFR185 headed 347 had 70rwhp less with a tad less comp with a C4 & 4000rpm converter so u can say im super impressed with u and ur car.

I think all ur head porting and tuning gets ur car going very well.

Awsome stuff dude, keep up the great work and keep pushing the boundaries

no I don't have a Transbrake what I have is a two step and with a 3000rpm chip I can hold it with the foot brake and go WOT to build 3psi of boost.

I didn't do much to the turbo's just flushed out the oil galleries with Brake cleaner and compressed air to clean out any swarf, the wastgates had to be striped and rebuilt to fix up some issues and balance the spring pressures.

yeh i was there, just had a bad outing, friday night i gave it a run, had a mild tune in it, for a shakedown, and when i pulled the shute, i must have had too much weight on the brake, and i flat spotted the to front tires down to canvas. only a 9.5 run, got another set of tires the next day, dialed in full power 600rkws, stalled up and let her go, she only went about 20 feet, and blew the stock centre in the diff. that was the end of my weekend.

Awesome car man! I'm in awe that you have been able to manage a 9 out of a stock block 302. Can I ask what comp you were running make 370rwhp N/A? You would have needed a mighty big cam too. Did you change the cam when you went TT?

Amazing! You've done your homework and it's paid off. Bigtime. I have an ED XR6 auto and it's far from quick, can't imagine what yours would feel like. I can't believe that BTR is hangin in there too, impressive.
And like others have said the N/A power you achieved is very high - more than a lot of people make with 351s! Congrats!
