Its hard SNBXR, cats are frowned upon by alot of people (on here aswell) but they are pets aswell.
A few years back we had to put down my cat that we had for 16 years, i was heart broken. I have another cat albeit a few years later, she is my world and i dread the day she leaves me.
Just for the anti cat people she lives inside

So sorry to hear about Memphis. Bengals are great cats, also great characters. I know, friends of ours have two of them. Memphis certainly looked a beautiful cat.

For peace of mind, we have closed off our pergola/patio area with trellis and a screen door, also with a roof and shadecloth so our cats cannot venture any further than that area and inside the house, with a cat flap in between. That way there is no risk of them getting into trouble, also into fights with neighbour cats that can carry infections. Our friends with the Bengals also have a similar area closed off, with hammocks, toys and a sandpit to keep them entertained. That way also, the neighbours also cannot complain about our cats roaming in their yards.

You can also get cat runs that can be moved, if you cannot put up anything permanent.

Yes, I can understand how you and your fiance are so upset. You need to order another when you're ready. Then there's something to look forward to again, as I understand theres quite a waiting period for them.

Might be a bit extreme, but maybe a sticky Pets thread might be in order. No love such as that shown by our pets can be matched by a human. At the other end of the scale, we show our pets more love than we do each other...how often do we fight with our partner, siblings, parents etc? You never hear of people fighting with their pets..

Dude,

Wife and I are cat folks as well. We both love Bengals and will be our next pure breed.

Sorry for your loss, I know to some they are just cats, but they are more than just animals, they are a part of the family and the any loss is hard to take.

NJXR6

Mate I also saw the thread on your pup and was going to post. Man I am sorry for your loss as well.

Cheers
Mark
