Default ED XR8 Sprint rims possibly for sale

Hey guys, I've given up on looking for EB GT wheels, I don't think I'll find them for a reasonable price. Mothernature has given me the idea, going to get Pre AU - AU II XR8 rims, 17x8. I can't have my cake and eat it to so if I do go through with the purchase of the new rims and Sprint rims have to go. Just wish to gauge possible interest before I offically place them up for sale. I have all five, boot rim looks as though its never been on the car. The other four are in great condition but the tyres will need replacing sometime soonish me thinks.

Keep the Sprint rims on the Sprint. Later model wheels look crap imo.

I would really suggest that you keep them ;)
I have both the Sprint rims & the AUXR8 ones. Might be a girly thing but I like to change them depending on my mood :P

Problem is that I have no where to store them :-(

The reason guys I'm looking to change them are that they will not accommodate larger brakes e.g min 17" and they are only 7" wide. Had 17" X 9"'s on the rear of my last sprint and the sprint rims just look like cheese cutters.

Shame your all the way over the other side of the country, I could have stored them with mine.

Im sure if you did sell them you will get a nice bit of coin for them in grat condition.

As Sprints are such a rare car, I'd keep the stock wheels for it. Even if you drive around on a different set, I'd want to make sure I could return it to stock at anytime. When it eventually comes times to sell, it'll be easier to sell a completely original one than one that's missing a lot of significant Sprint parts.

I guess that's the problem with living in a place that you don't plan on staying in too long hence why I'm renting. That and when its time to move back to the eastern states I don't want to have to transport too much stuff, like there wouldn't be enough already, DVD's, CD's furniture :

Wait till your in a place your staying at, THEN get the big brakes + rims

If you sell them and want them again, you have about no chance of finding another set.

Just an idea, I notice you have a daily wagon? Stick them on that?
