Yeah, I agree too. At the drags all you are doing is taking off fast, no different to doing it off the lights except your top speed is a bit higher. The only thing that I can see which is a bit harder on you car at the drags is the launch - mainly in a manual. With an auto its even easier on the car unless you sit there stalling up for long periods.

You have more chance of blowing a diff, G/Box or axel at the drags. At the end of a track day, all i do is flush the brake fluid and the brakes are good as normal. Anyway, track days are more fun.

I've done Oran Park and Wakefield Park and the cars feel as good as the day I picked it up from Ford. Still feels strong. And i was pushing it hard, keeping in touch with LS2 Maloo utes at the like. The T still feels fresh.
EDIT: Im talking about Manual cars too. The drive line in the manual cops it harder off the line and down the strip than an auto.
