im marching on saturday with the HMAS Sydney "Vung Tau Ferry" in honour of my late father (3rd year in a row this year and it still gets me going)

they've lost a couple more members this year to cancer and other health problems ( dad died of prostae cancer at 56! too soon)

head down to your local war memorial and show the diggers you're proud wherever you are.

Lest we forget

And don't forget our servicemen and servicewomen who are currently deployed. It's just as big a sacrifice now as it was then.

Lest We Forget.

My Grandfather fought, and it haunted him 'til the day he died. My grandmother used to have to sleep in a seperate room and bed because he would have nightmares every night and try to kill her ......

My Grandfather was a sleeping memorial to the sacrifices made by those who chose to give us a better life.

Unlike Rememberance day, ANZAC day does not have a specific time in which you have a minute silence.

Each Radio though should have a minute silence at some point during thier morning program though.
