Default Koala hit by car... dragged for 12km... but that's not the weirdest bit..

Australia: An 8-year-old Koala has miraculously escaped almost unharmed after being struck by a car travelling at 100km/h. The hapless marsupial was then dragged for 12km hanging on by one arm with his head caught in the grill.

Another motorist noticed the koala, now dubbed Ely 'Lucky' Grills, and flagged down the car he was stuck in. The grill was prized open and he was taken to the the late Steve Irwin's Australian Wildlife Hospital for treatment.

The day wasn't yet over for Lucky with tests revealing that he also has chlamydia. He is said to be recovering well and is being treated for his STD. He will be released into the bush after a 45 day hospital stay.

LMFAO

a koala with chlamydia? lol

It's a good thing he survived or he'd have been this weeks special at Coles in Beerwah, " Grill'd Koala going out at just $14.99 kg "

As I recall it was some middle aged woman in a 'Lexus 4wd'. Apparently she 'thought' she hit something but thought it was 'only' an animal and kept driving without checking :. Another good reason to stay away from middle aged women in 4x4s...

I'm pretty sure that wasn't what he meant....

Hmm, What leaves me wondering is, who was the poor koala that first got chlymidia... Hope its not the human version, they have big claws!

chlamydia is very common for them, particularly in overpopulated areas

French island had to get a heap removed because of it (maybe they liked to clap? lol)

It wasn't any of us Queenslanders that did this! The koala was obviously trying to hitchhike back to its lover in another state after making an STD call.

The moral here is:....GO IN A FORD....if you want to travel quickly interstate, and you're thinking of 100 Km/Hr in a Lexus...YOU NEED TO PULL YOUR HEAD IN..........IT IS NOT 'ARMLESS (LIKE THE KOALA IS FEELING NOW)!

Stay away from them because they have chlymidia or because they "disarm" koalas?
