Default Motorsport -Sandown sprint May 24th

Well what a day we had to day- plenty of pics on the website (of club members), whilst the blue oval didn't have any failures, there were plenty of Holden's, Jag's, a turbo bluebird and even the odd mini to break down and halt proceedings. Richard will be bleeding he wasn't there - tank man came and played !! (Red GTI-R)

The HSV club had Greg Murphy come and do a couple of laps at midday, and we (fellow club members) manned the barbie for the day.

After having to sweep the track 3 times for oil spills and the like (the biggest one requiring sawdust from turn 4 to dandy rd) the most spectular halt of the day came in the second last supersprint - when a Mini rolled! He was okay, but didn't we all think Mini's don't roll????

Full report in the next mag.

A recent study found the average Australian walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found Australians drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an aussie.
