I have just got a new enclosed car trailer - after the last one was stolen.
Anyone have any recomendations regarding a suitable alarm? One that would trigger when the thing was being moved, or broken into. The trailer has its own on board power. |

autowatch make a specialised caravan alarm that would probably suit your needs.
http://www.pfk.co.za/67.aspx or you could adapt a normal car alarm with shock and tilt sensors, and put switchs on the doors..

Not sure how they stole the last one but u there is a miriad of coupling locks out there. Also a couple of wheel clamps or do as they do with the lighted roadside trailer signs ans remove the wheels. Sounds like a bit of fuss but its a cheap way to keep your trailer.

Turn your coupling around so that the handles at the bottom and then you lock the safety chains to it for a bit of extra security.
