Default Unbelievable Falcon XR Ute Recliners - Ebay Auction

Hey everyone,

Ford are auctioning the two recliners used in the latest Falcon Ute TV Commercial, with a 2 person Bathurst hospitality package and a 2 person MCG Cricket package included as part of the deal - with all proceeds going to the National Breat Cancer Foundation!!

Couldn't find if anyone had posted this before so I thought I'd post up the link. Already at $5,100 which is awesome for the NBCF!

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Unbelievable-...QQcmdZViewItem

Here's the details from below the main photo because they're too hard to read on the page itself:

Conditions of Sale:

1. The item consists of: (a) 2 x reclining chairs with brown leather upholstery and four tyres, as featured in the ‘Utopia’ television commercial for the new Ford Falcon XR8 Ute; (b) A Bathurst Blue Oval Club Hospitality Package for 2 people, to be taken on 5–7 October 2007, including admission to a premium
location above the pits overlooking the front row of grid, a visit to the corporate facility from selected Ford V8 Supercar drivers, pit garage tours of officially-supported Ford race teams, use of radio headsets to listen in on the communication between Ford race teams and drivers, an official event program, buffet luncheon and beverages; and (c) A Cricket Hospitality Package for 2 people, including admission to a one day international cricket match between Australia vs India on 10 February 2008 at the MCG in the Ford corporate suite in the Southern Stand, with food and premium beverages.

2. The chairs are offered in “as is” condition. Bidders acknowledge that: (a) the chairs have been manufactured for use as props in a television commercial and have not been manufactured to normal standards for consumer use; (b) the chairs are not motorised; (c) the gear shifts/hand-brake levers on the chairs are non-functional and has been installed for appearance only; (d) the foot rests on the chairs are fixed in position; and (e) the chairs are not intended to be used for rolling down hills or other stunts.

3. Bidders acknowledge that the Bathurst Blue Oval Club Hospitality Package and Cricket Hospitality Package do not include travel, accommodation, insurance, spending money or any additional ancillary costs other than those expressly stated above. The winning bidder and their companion will be required to pay for all transport to the events and for any accommodation required whilst using the event packages. The event packages must be taken on the dates specified.

4. It is a condition of bidding that the winning bidder must donate their winning bid directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (“NBCF”) via the contact details to be provided by the seller.

5. The winning bidder will also be required to sign a release of liability, in the form determined by the seller in its absolute discretion, before receiving the item.

6. The seller will only dispatch the item to the winning bidder once: (a) NBCF confirms that the donation has been received from the winning bidder; and (b) the seller returns the signed release to the seller.
