Default timing belt

hi. I have a blue 1993 Festiva Trio. the boy over the way said my timing belt is bad. I have little mechanical knowledge, but i was wondering if it is a job i can do myself?

If you have little mechanical knowledge, I wouldn't attempt this. Its not hard but if you move anything you shouldn't. It would put your timing out and engine is rooted

hey thankyou for the friendly reply. I thought it might have been simple- I remember many years ago when I was young and my chain used to fall off my bicycle i had trouble putting it back on lol lol

Gee if you had trouble with that then i wouldn't attempt a timing belt at all lol.
