Exclamation rough idle

g'day everyone, my nephew is having a bit of a prob with his el at the moment, when he slows down from speed (that is stopping at a set of lights)etc the car seems to want to stall (but doesn't)
he has changed all the leads and plugs at Christmas so unless he got a faulty one I wouldn't think that would be it. has anyone got some suggestions for me to have a look at he will be bring the car over to my place in a couple of weeks so I can help him out.

any info would be good

cheers

im having pretty much the same problem at the momento with my EL Monty..
my leads are actually sparking where they are bundled down near the dizzy cap..
i dont have the time to actually take it apart and replace the leads, so i got it booked in this friday for new leads.
but yeah it seems like its running off 4 cylinders.. a short term solution that i found worked with mine was actually seperating the leads from eachother with a long screw driver, but that only lasts a couple of days then it starts sparking again and running like crap..

hopefully its just the leads.

Sounds like an air regulator or sensor. It is a common fault I haven't had to solve it on my EL as yet but had exactly that problem with a TX5. I do know the EL has a better system of measuring the air.
