Default wanting more at take off

Hi guys,

I have a stocker 6 ed with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust, it goes well for a stocker but its crap as on takeoff, usualy the power hits in at bout 2500rpm+ what are good mods for improving torque? keepin in mind i dont want to supercharge or turbo charge it. not realy caring if i have to sacrfice top speed over acceleration.

How many k's does the car have on it?

If you want overall more noticeable power and torque then go a T5 manual convo, They are by far the best bang for buck performance upgrade you could do for an e-series.

Manual conversion without a doubt. Plus you get the added bonus of making driving much more enjoyable.

a hi-stall torque converter raises the launching RPM of a car fitted with an automatic transmission. Usually this enables the car to hit max torque/max power levels at take off, meaning a faster take off.

A regrinded camshaft is simply done for performance. It alters the lift, duration, etc of the car lobes, meaning adjustments to valve opening and closing, which means more power/better airflow/more torque.

t5 conversion is without a doubt the best bang for buck mod to get better launches however, couple that up with 3.7 diff gears and youll be laughing.

should be 3.27 i think... dont quote me on that tho..
3.45/3.7 is ideal for street use with a t5.
