Default eb to au

i want to convert my eb v8 ecu and wiring to an au ecu and wiring, could anyone tell me if it is possible and what is involved?

i know ill need to replace the ecu, full engine loom but what about things like the cluster or the auto trans cos the au trans ecu is in the engine ecu??

Why do you want to do this? What benefit do you think you'll get? I would doubt you'll get any benefit unless you run an AU V8 engine as well.

Best bet though, if you are really serious, is to post this question in the FTG section. If anyone knows, it will be Darren & co.

coil packs would be needed, and you'll have smartshield fun & games, and a torque reduction bug which will hit if you go for short diff gears.

So you don't really need an ECU, you need the BEM, which inturn may force you down the ECU route, if you can't get an AU BEM to talk to an EB ECU.
