The climate control in my TE50 seems to have died. I have no fan control, and even when the car is turned off with keys out, the fans continue to run. I'm guessing a solenoid has given up the ghost and to prevent my battery from going flat I have removed the fuse 40amp fuse for it, but a local Ford dealer refuses to assist me unless I book it in for an inpspection for $90.
Seeing as the T1 was Fairmont based the climate control for both is exactly the same so I was hoping someone may have had a similar problem in the past and can give me an idea of what needs to be replaced and at what sort of cost. Hoping it's not the entire climate control cluster as I'm assuming they're not too cheap. Thanks guys. |

Contact this guy. Lots of satisfied customers including me. edit: oh, you've got more than the usual cc probs. That guy may be of some assistance for a replacement unit if that is what the problem is otherwise an auto electrician may be the go. Last edited by ronwest; 11-05-2007 at 06:47 PM. |
