Default Ford Capri v HSV (Top Gear)

Ok, this is NOT a Holden bash so please dont turn it into one. The Capri has a turbo fitted.

JC versus VBH in her favorite 70/80s car.

Steve

PS, I have a Capri 2.8i just like the one in the footage, sans turbo.

"....Australian Holden with an American V8 and Tom Walkinshaw English chassis...".

Doesn't sound too Aussie after that.

lol there really is no 'TRUE' Austrlian car these days. All parts are from differning countries and they are all owned by non-australian citizens! So really Holden is equally not an Australian car as Ford or any other manufacture

Ford Cologne 2.8 fuel injected V6, Ford 5 speed trans. I think that car has had a turbo fitted. Common mod in the UK. My capri 2.8i is faster than my BA XR6 but I wouldnt want to put it up against any late HSV.
