Default How much for a flash tuner & custom dyno tune?

I got quoted the other day for a CAPA flash tuner & custom dyno tune $1800...was just wondering how many other ppl did the same for theirs and if they paid the same price or less? I just think $1800 is a bit much :/

it's probably about right....the box itself retails for between $800 and $1000, also if there's no competition around the area you are, they can charge whatever they want to tune it

A bit more than I paid, ?? tuner $995.00, dyno $450.00 , maybe a lucky price , main thing is to get a result for what you pay,!

I have been quoted $1500 by 2 different places (Box $900 and Tune $600).

These prices were in Melbourne.

Hope this helps.

$1800 is way too much, I would pay no more than $1500 and I would expect that to include 3 tunes.

Speak to Either Craig (Aussie Car Enhancements) , Chris (Bluepower Racing Developments) Or Matt ( G&D Performance Tuning) ,

These are the Guys i only hear good things about , in the sense of tuning and fitting parts ,,,

Very Approachable and Willing to Explain..

Agreed, I'm getting my tune done now by G&D and it's no way near $1800.

Try RDP. They are our sponsors, although Im not sure if they do an edit for the AU six, but if I remember correctly, Steve mentioned to fiery about trying one of his own chips or something? Give him a go. Plus hes in Brisbane.
