So if any one is keen for a run with us just add your name to the list below.

Can't make this one Stretch as I have a previous engagement at Oran Park at one of those hot lap things. Got it for Crissy. So you may have a chance at Mt Vic. :evil3:

haha..yer...that hilux is easily able to do a burnout with 35 inch tyres..its crazy..atm it is getting a supercharged 600ci + chev motor built for it so i think they are putting the 308 motor out of the hilux into a commodore for the weekend while the beast gets built...or they might surprise us and have it running..i dunno..its been a while since i last talked to him

Hey Stretch, is it just me, or does a Toyota Hilux do a better burnout than Likit...

Thats right the Lux has the windsor, not the boss... Now it makes sense....

Imagine it with a real motor.... Chevvvvvyyyy Powwwaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :

Default Off to Kandos

Hi Stretch, I will be attending the Kandos event - I promised young Tankclare I would bring up the car to show him - he did the photo chop images for me when I designed the bonnet.

I was hoping to have my new trailer by then but the Xmas/New Year holidays have set me back 3 weeks -

I will be in Lithgow visiting relatives on the Friday and travelling up to Kandos early Saturday morning - I believe that you have to be setup by 8am for the show.

See you up there -

Ciao - James

Off topic, but excuse me.

I think Disco and Uraqt must teach the young pup some manners. This naughty puppy has been dirtying the carpet for far too long and the rod has been spared, thus the pooch has been spoiled..... :

Hi Guy, looking forward to the visit - hope the weather up there is not as hot as it is here at the moment - will not have the trailer ready for the show - still another 3 weeks off - down at the painters at the moment - the stainless steel sheeting arrived last week - looks awesome.

See you at the Show

Ciao - James

Hi Stretch, I was only going up to show Tankclare the car with the bonnet on it - he did the photochop for the bonnet.

Terrible conditions for the Show N Shine - very windy, dry , dusty. With the drought and water restrictions the ground was a dustbowl - so dusty and windy that I had to close the back of the car up - I would have had a layer of dust eigth inch thick in the back of the car on the suede - not looking forward to cleaning it this morning - have to be careful not to grind the dust into the suede. Not going into medical details too much, but due to one of the effects of my cancer I lost my saliva glands and the conditions yesterday really aggrivated my condition - mouth and throat were like sandpaper and even heaps of liquid could not give me any relief - so I ended up packing up and having to leave for home - still not over it today but hope it improves by the days end.

Ciao - James

hope you get better mate..yes the wind did not help things.

I just got home from the show (now finished) and today was pretty much the same with a little less wind but still dusty from the grass events..

I am very happy to say you won the best custom paint and the best interior..Well done!

Hi Guy, thanks mate, just got out of bed 10 minutes ago, still a bit lousy but 100% on how I was yesterday.

Great news to see that the car won Best Custom Paint and Best Interior, considering the quality and standard of the cars that were on display it takes top honours on my trophy list.

Catch up with you later.

Good to see some images - did not take me camera - I hear that the entries and crowds were up from last year and the promotors were pleased with the event.
