Default Window Winder Mechanism Removal

Hey there, i'm back after being quite for a while. Forgot my password and no longer have access to the email address.

Was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the winder mechanism in an ED? The part with the spline for the handle seems to be riveted in? Is that correct?

Thanks
Ritchie

Whats the hammer for?

yes drill out pop rivet.

hammer & nail is to push whats left of the rivet out of the hole (they are sharp little buggers so be carefull)

replace with bolts & locktight nuts (the nuts wid da plastic sleve to stop them coming off wid vibrations)

let me know if u need help
