Default BA rear wagon spoiler

Hi people.
I have been chasing a rear Ba spoiler for a wagon.
Has anybody seen or heard of one?
A part number of ERN422108KT was given to me.
i know there is a dust deflector which is made with black plexi glass and i have seen it on AWC as well.
Does any one possess one or got piccies of one?

My aunty and uncles BA futura wagon has a body coloured dust deflector which looks good. I know JC has a spoiler on his AU wagon as well which would fit the BA. You should ask him.

I only only give an AU answer to this BA question - AWC do rear spoilers, as do SSV and probably most other body kit places.

There is no difference between the boot of an AU, BA, BF.

It is a wise idea for AU owners to buy a BA boot, because you get the radio antenna in the glass and no lock barrel for theives to use to break into.

I am geting mine after the T3 engine goes in. Have got to get my priorities right.

The cost to get the dent and barrel fixed I can just get a new boot. Plus BAs have liquid silver, so no need for paint and there are so many silver wagons.

We got the dust deflector which is part #42218 but should of had 42210(ERN42210AKT)which from fords customer service assistance says its a spoiler.
but me thinks we will be going to awc(if there open) or ssv too.

Recently when I enquired from my local Ford dealer, they were (dust deflector) @$100 in primer ready to paint for the genuine Ford part.

Unless Ford moved it, the antenna was in the the LH rear cargo area side glass.
Down here in the Southern states we call em a "tailgate" on the wagons. :

I call them tailgates to but did not know if all these sedan owners would not what a tailgate is : j/k

I thought it was in the rear glass, but it could be in the side glass. I will end up getting the side glasss to because they come with demisters and our AU's dont.

BA's never cam out in liquid silver. Only mercury silver and lightning strike. Also the on glass antenna is on the side windows of the boot, only the demister is ont he rear glass. I don't think the side windows have demisters either. The only advantage i spose is no key hole, and no locating holes on badges.

I got a BA Futura Wagon and found the rear spoiler idea very intriguing.
AWC site was down or something.
Looked at SSV the only thing I could find was this:

SSV is asking $220.00 for this item plus shipping cost.
I am not sure if the price iincludes painting or not???

BUT, Ford is asking ONLY $125.00 for the same (unpainted) without any shipping cost.

But, by the look of things AUVCT is not after an acrylic wind deflector???
Am I right to presume that you are referring to the real thing …..a rear spoiler made out of ABS plastic or fibreglass....??? Like the ones on the Falcon sedans?

Sorry my bad......

AWC web is fine and I found this:

Which I believe is more like the one AUVCT is after?????
Am I right????

They call it roof wing and are asking $220.00 for one.
However, this one looks like it has a LED bar in it as well.

Hmmmmm.......worth thinking about.....

Yep, both the wing and the TS style skirts are from AWC.

I like the wheels too, but may put them back on the XR, and put the Chiles on the wagon.

About the wheels......Naaaaah, keep them on the Wagon. They are perfectly made for this car.
There are very few set of wheels I have seen that match a car perfectly. This is one of them.
Most of the time the wheels look awesome but don't fit the car they are attached to.
Not in your case.

Just tell me why did you put a XR badge on the wagon???

I thought that was what you were looking for so I posted pics of both styles for you and everyone else to see.

I have had the Rear Spoiler on a Wagon idea for a long time now.
But with just a minor difference.
I made a LED bar to fit all the way from one end to the other.
About 75cm or so long. Sort of like the ones on some Holden Wagons.
BUT, with much stronger LEDs.

I did a thread on how I built the LED bar on our US forum while ago.

With the LED bar, the rear spoiler looks different and no one behind you can say "I didn't see the car in front of me braking....".
Must be blind if they say something like that.

I also built a LED bar and changed the original 3rd brake light with.
I can (if I want to) use it as a parker light and brake light at the same time.
As parkers they emit 45-50% light and as brake lights they emit full effect. 12x135000mcds LEDs were used in this set up.
Much safer now with real light showing the sleepy beauty behind me that I am on the road.....a sort of wake up, wake up, pay attention to me, message.

The come unpainted. Painting was around $350 for the lot, IIRC.

XR badge is hiding the holes left when I removed the Forte badge. It has an XR front, so while not technically an XR, it is my take on what an XR wagon should've some like from factory (though I would replace the rear bar too - as soon as chief gets the TS thing moulded).

As for wheels - they chop and change between the 2 cars as and when I fell the need. The Apaches will stay on the wagon for a few weeks at least, but after that, who knows? That's the advantage of owning 2 AUs - I can chop and change most bits at will.

The AWC spoiler comes with LED brake light integrated already. I have 5 brake lights (standard left, right and high mount one, plus the wing LED one, plus a Ford symbol one in the Hayman Reece tow ball hitch thingy - absolutley no excuse for anyone to rear end me!)

I totally agree with you there. To make your self visible on the roads is as important as careful driving.

But there are too many Mr. Magoos out there.

The reason I asked about the XR badge is that I know about someone out there that swapped over everything possible from a XR6 Turbo to a Wagon. I have been looking for the owner of that vehicle for a vile now. I thought it might have been you because of the XR badge…
You don’t happen to know who he/she is??

That's good news. Are you still going to hand it back to AWC (they've probably forgotten about it)? Or just give it to Adam and maybe he can get someone to make it.
