Default Spoiler or not

Whilst I'm getting opinions, here's another one for you all...
I like the clean look of the AU without a spoiler, but I also like the S1 TS bobtail. I bought this ages ago of LG, but never got around to painting and fitting it. In the mean time I went off putting it on (partly because painting was a lot dearer than I thought it would be), but now I think I might. Yay or nay? I'm leaning towards yay...

I reckon it looks good mate. It'll look even better when painted. : The spoiler makes the car look more complete. The bobtail design keeps the sleek shape of the fairmont.

I'm undecided.
I would say yes if you spent the time and effort to fit it properly and bog in the gaps so you can't see where the boot finishes and wing starts.
Still, it's a nice looking wing.

Yep, it'll look good. Will look better with a Fairmont bodykit.

His work is first class but as with most things you need at least a couple of quotes for a comparison.

Yeah I got a couple of others around the $120-$140 mark, but I've also heard nothing but good things about coyote's perfectionism, so I'm tempted to go with him. That quote was before he was a site sponsor and started offering 10% discount to members, so I'll have to talk to him again.

I'm amazed you've had to ask. Get it painted and get it on the car, it will look stunning. I actually saw 2 AU's with the same spoiler yesterday and I was starting to wonder if I should swap mine for one.. they look that good!

Sorry about the pics not clear enough but here's my old XR8....
I love the no spoiler look and the small ones as above but I also think you need some wide rubber to suit :

Same one I have on my XR. I'm a fan of big spoilers like the T3 one, and I also like the no spoiler look, so I went for the bobtail spoiler as a compromise. Just finishes off the boot lid nicely.

no more wind noise, but it does help keep the back of the car on the road when you're goind for the world land speed record : lol (that's being sarcastic by the way)

Im Getting rid of my spoiler soon , its the S2 SR one with the Triangle light in the middle ,

I seen a BA without one but all XR bodykit and looked really tough to me

Its either loose it and lower it or buy a Big Fancy One like HOTC2R;s

No, I wasn't kidding. I drove a Hertz BA XR6 from the Gold Coast to Sydney a couple of years ago. It was as noisy as buggery above 100km/h and put me right off the idea of a spoiler. I never had the opportunity to find out if it was a unique problem with that car, or a more widespread issue.

The main reason I want one is so that I can see where the back end of the car is when I'm reversing.

I like the look of that spoiler looks nice without overdoing it. Have seen a few of the usual ones and dont like them. series 2 xr6/8 looks ok kinda squares up the back end a bit.

Where can you get the one like in the 1st pic, that is very nice
