many dealers have still got BA mkII's in stock !!.A Sydney dealer is offering a FREE brand new Ford Fiesta on the road if you buy a BAII XR8 (albeit at full freight). Car for the missus with your XR8 , good novel way of moving this old stock actually as many dont look deep into these things .

i work at my local ford dealership and we have 4 or so in stock, but are not allowed to put them on the lot till the 26th of this month. the ones we have are advanced orders so that we have some demo stock to display when they are oficially 'on sale'...strangly though just this week we sold an rtv to a qld gov dept, will be a week or so before they take delivery though.

Southside Ford at the Gabba has a White XT on the lot, they also have a BFII Fairmont Ghia in Lightning Strike Registered, which id say is someones drive car.

I also seen a BFII Turbo ute in the new orange yesturday on the road.

Most dealers won't put them out because they don't want drop in customers to see them, they have to sell alot of BAII and BFs before they can focus on BFII.

If you really want to see one go to one of them on a weekday and ask, im sure one of the salesmen will happily escort you to the holding yard to view a few.

yes I like it too very nice upgrade
I work behind the broady plant and I travel the same routes that they road test and take deliveries out on. (wanna see one sit on barry or somerton rd at the bulla end)
Seen prob over 30+ on road all different models for over a month now running trade plates and last week heaps of trucks loaded with various models going out the gate

I got pics of a bf ghia on the road a few weeks ago but just crappy phone pics as I was following it

i recently attended the drive day for the mkII and they are an improvment on the mkI also i had the misfortune to drive a omega while i was there and found out that it takes less time to get to 80 in a gas fairmont than the com. however the new fairmont ghia is an orgasm on wheels particualy in the V8 version

Any Melbourne dealers have a brand new BAII XR8 with manual transmission they want to get rid off? I would seriously consider one if the price was right.

Hey RATT, do the Ford dealers have a database which shows what models and stocks are being held by all of the Ford dealers?

XT int he showroom has Futura alloys to make it look better.

In the clip the XT has the "Euro Sports Pack". ie: 17inch alloys, sports suspension, 6spd auto and DSC.

The idea behind the drag race was to accelerate to a certain speed, in this case being 70km/h and then hit the brakes hard. Omega took longest to do this.

Which 17s do they offer with the ESP pack mate?

The SR ones off the BF i assume?

I prefer the BA SR rims :(

Seems asl tho this new ESP pack is alot of bang for your buck. Wonder what times the XT will pull with that auto!
