That is awesome.
Less poles, less cabling to them, something else for someone not to wrap themselves around (mind you they will find something else). I cant see the harm. I wonder if they could make lines that semi glow when headlights hit them. Plenty of roads in the middle of no where that are "dangerous" that could benefit from it. It looks a bit trippy but you would get used to it.

Good idea, or they could use some sort of reflective stuff, like whats in high vis jackets, those reflective stripes light up like Christmas trees with the slightest bit of light that hits them.

Yeah psychedelic!! I have only been to Amsterdam and wow... Totally different approach to sex/drugs to the rest of the world. Seems to work fine there though!

North west coastal Hwy around Canarvon is made with white rock (quartz I think ) and at night when you have at least half a moon you can turn your lights off and the road glows silver and it goes for a couple of hunded k s

Check out glowfast - I grabbed some adhesive tape from them and it glows like crazy all night. Wonder where they got the glow powder from!

Looks great, some of the dodgey bits of road where line marking just dissapears in poor conditions on multiple lane high speed areas it would be fantastic.........but we would never see it in victoria, one multiple lane section of road with a sweeper not far from where I live, it took them 6 months to even re line mark after doing a road repair............ we are lucky to even get the cheap white lines!

Doesn't surprise me mate, decent roads seem a very low priority for for some shires.
