Hi, could someone tell me if this is a fault that's happened to anyone else. 07 focus zetec, 2.0 dura eng, 65k full ford service history, when started from cold it sometimes has a miss fire, it only lasts for 30secs. I was going to change the plugs as a matter of course, but thought I'd put it up on here to see if it's a common problem. The car runs fine when warm. Thanks.

Yeah this is a fairly common issue, lots of mentions of the same problem on here.
Only usually occurs on cold-starts as you mentioned and also only usually short-lasting. |

Thanks for reply DZFord, is there a fix or is it just something they do?

Often, you just need to let them idle for a few seconds before driving off. Replacing spark plugs helped mine and it seems to rarely ever do it these days (NGK Iridium plugs_

Thanks DZFord, I've changed the plugs, and it's not done it since, even tho plugs had only done 20k. Thanks again for you're input.
