Default Anybody tried to fit a BA/BF handbrake into an au?

I remember a while ago I was struggling to find a leather handbrake with chrome button for my au and somebody suggested trying a b-series one. I think somebody also said they were going to try an install one on their au?

Anyway, will it fit?

Speak to JC, he has a BA leather handbrake and is trying to make it fit as the mounting points are different to the AU, but knowing JC : , he''ll get it done somehow.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Mick, but I've had a serious go at this and not only are the mounting points different, but the way the cable attaches is also different. I think if I got hold of a BA cable, I could make it work, but as it is, there's no way I can get enough pressure to actually get the handbrake to engage.

Anyone want to buy a BA leather handbrake?
