I'm driving up to Tamworth (from Melbourne, but Albury is along the way) and google maps and the NRMA/RACQ websites both have conflicting estimates as to how long exactly it will take for the same route to Tamworth. So I'm wondering if there's an even better way of getting an idea than that - asking FordForums whether anyone has covered that ground and how long it took them.
So how long did it take you, and what route did you take? (roughly is good!). Cheers |

I have to swing by Albury to pick up some equipment, unfortunately. One small upside is that Albury has two listings in the best Parmigianas in Australia on parma.com.au (#5 and #10).
I think I can run west of the mountains the whole way up, or head to Bathurst and cross the mountains through to Lithgow and go up from there (Why would I want to waste time going through the scenic way? I don't really, but there'll be a woman with me! :|). |
