1993 ford telstar auto has 220,000km has no reverse gear went this morning so will it need a new gearbox

loss of reverse means a fluid pressure problem
maybe an oil pump failure or torque converter do you have forward gears?

Yer mate forward gears are perfect but reverse is kinda going but not really a little bit sticky, any advise would be muchly appreciated

best get it to an automatic repair shop fo a diagnosis or service
might be a clogged oil filter or a solenoid problem if you have good forward gears you shouldnt need a gearbox rebuild
