Default New Taurus

Just saw this...

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/images/..._299375_25.jpg

So let me get this straight... Ford have killed GRWD, basically consigning the Falcon to history books or at most minor updates come 2013 (economies of scale simply don't add up on it).

Then they've put the centre stack from the BA/F into their new Taurus, which they've made to look more like Mondeo / Falcon and given the car a symmetrical dash.

Yet they have no plans to export the Taurus???

Codswallup I say! Say hello to the 2013 Falcon, Boys and Girls...

No, neither am I. Have to be honest, though and say I don't mind the exterior...

I think it can be converted into RHD as if u look at the right hand side it is near identical to the left hand side without the steering wheel.

I agree with you mate. For sure it just isn't viable for next generation falcon atm, maybe the generation after, but the money isnt there for the r & d side at the moment.

Don't listen to what the doomsayers say, they have their own agendas.

Ford Australia need to get out and squash these rumours before it turns into a cancer that brings them down, ala Mitsubishi.
