I'm only a 10 minute drive to my workplace, and that includes picking up two workmates on the way.

I work mainly from home - so 15 seconds from bedroom to office.

12.5km's one way driving. It's a max 20 minute drive (one way) in heavy traffic. All I can say is I'm glad.

Live in Mordialloc and travel to Melbourne every day by car. The other morning it took me 1.5hrs to get from the start of Queens Rd in St Kilda to the Casino!!! All up it took 2.5hrs to get to work that day. Usually it only takes between 40-60mins though.

About 30kms. 30mins in good traffic, up to 50mins in bad. Usually takes me about 40 mins on average.

You'd be better off using East Link in a car ;)

Get there in 30 mins.

14kms each way for me takes between 15 - 20 minutes. When I look for a job one of my specifications is that the job must be within 30 minutes travel time from home in peak hour traffic.

I timed the distance it takes me to get from home to work when I first bought my XR. At 80k's (80 is the speed limit all the way) it takes me 1 minute 43 seconds. Wooo!

Used to take me 60 seconds to get to work from my place, then another job was 8 minutes and now it's 42 minutes there and 50 minutes back (Moorabbin to Collingwood).

About 8ks from home to the bus depot.
But it depends on the time of day as to how long it takes. Peak hour it could be up to 40 minutes with traffic and school zones, but about 10-12 minutes otherwise.

35km to work from home, takes an hour each way ... "Brisbane traffic is shocking!"

Iv'e been doing the same trip for 9 years now, the traffic's really is getting beyond a joke the last couple of years, it used to be not too bad, I'm thinking about trying to get something closer to home, trouble is I love the job where I am, that's why I keep putting up with the traffic grind every day .... "I'm just so over the Brisbane traffic jams every day though!"
